What time is Sunday Worship?

We offer four fantastic worship Services on Sunday Mornings:

8:15AM           Traditional Worship

9:40AM           Contemporary Worship

11:00AM         Traditional Worship

11:00AM         “Student Service” / Contemporary Worship in the church annex

We also have a fellowship dinner on Tuesdays at 5:30PM and a Tuesday night worship service at 6:30PM.  There’s a lot of other great stuff happening as well, so come by and check it out!

What should I wear?

Be yourself and dress however is comfortable for you.  On Sunday mornings you will find plenty of folks in jeans or shorts as well as plenty of folks dressed more formally for worship.  Because we believe God doesn’t really mind what you wear, the choice is ultimately up to you!  As you might expect, the contemporary worship services tend to be less formal than the traditional services overall.  For groups and activities that take place during the week, dress is typically very casual.

Where do I park?

Please use our visitor spots by the main church entrance facing Sudley Road.  That’s what they’re there for!

Is there Sunday School?

Of course!  Various classes are available at both 9:40 and 11:00 for all ages.  Our greeters will be happy to guide you and your children to whatever sort of class you’re looking for.

Is there childcare?

Yes!  We make safe, responsible care for all our young people a priority.  A nursery is available, as well, but you may certainly feel free to keep your child with you if you prefer.

Do you have small groups?

Dozens!  From youth to young adults to seniors… from singles to couples to quilters to Christian men and women’s groups… we’re sure to have a group you can connect with, grow with, and enjoy!  The best way to learn about all we have to offer is just to stop by and check things out in person!

What does your Church believe?

In a nutshell… We believe God is real.  We believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh and that he really lived, died, and rose again to forgive our sins.  We believe the Holy Spirit is alive and well, doing great things among us!  We believe the Bible is the authoritative Word of God.  We believe prayer is powerful and effective.  We believe Heaven and Hell are real destinations, depending on whether or not you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.  We believe every Christian is called to service and spiritual growth.  We believe we need one another to walk through the sometimes difficult journey of life together!  And we believe we’d love to meet you!

I’m divorced… I’m a single parent… I used to do some really bad stuff… I’m not perfect… (Fill in the blank)… Can I still come to church?

Yes!!!  Absolutely!!!  At Manassas – St. Thomas we know that nobody’s perfect (including us!) so everybody’s welcome to come and know the God of grace, love, mercy, and forgiveness!  We hope to see you this Sunday morning!

I’m interested in a wedding, baptism, membership, or have more questions that aren’t answered here.  How can I get in touch with the church?

Feel free to call us at 703-368-5161.
